This appeal arises from a medical malpractice suit. Vivian Long, widow of Joseph Byron Long, filed suit both individually and on behalf of the Estate of Joseph Byron Long, for the death of her husband against several defendants. A non-jury trial lasting six days proceeded against Drs. E. Ward Sudderth, Michael D. Friley, Robert G. Font, and their insurer, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company.
