NIMS, Judge:

Respondent determined a deficiency of $26,889.38 in petitioners' 1981 Federal income tax. The issues for decisions are: 1) whether petitioners are subject to the limitations on investment interest deductions contained in section 163(d);1 and 2) whether petitioners are entitled to an income tax refund of $1,000 for 1981.
