On April 14, 1985, at approximately 12:30 a.m., law enforcement officers from United States Customs, Metro-Dade Police, and the Florida Marine Patrol, conducting a joint operation under the direction of Customs, arrested the CHRISTINA, a 27-foot fishing vessel, about two miles off the Florida coast in Customs waters.
