On March 31, 1978, John Camden was born out of wedlock to Penny Camden. Camden initiated a paternity action in 1979 against Richard Miller, claiming he was the natural father. The case was tried to a jury and a verdict was returned against Camden. The jury found Miller was not the father.

On September 12, 1984, a second paternity action was initiated pursuant to R.C. Chapter 3111 et seq....
