We granted defendant's writ to review his conviction for speeding. LRS 32:61. He urges five assignments of error that relate to his request in a "bill of particulars" for information about the radar unit used to measure the speed of his vehicle, the reliability of the particular radar unit, and the sufficiency of the evidentiary foundation laid for testimony of state troopers about the speed reading observed on the radar unit.
