Plaintiff was employed as a pipe welder for Richards & Associates, Inc., on 6 November 1975 when he suffered a back strain while lifting a heavy bottle of veneer. Defendant carrier, United States Fidelity & Guaranty Insurance Company, accepted the injury as compensable and now concedes that it is bound by that acceptance.
