This is a medical malpractice action in which plaintiffs claim first that they were injured by the negligence of defendants, Drs. Robert J. Ross (now deceased) and Robert P. Shapiro. Second, plaintiffs claim that defendants Hospital, its Board of Trustees, and the Executive Committee of its Medical Staff were negligent in allowing Drs. Ross and Shapiro to continue to practice at the hospital after they knew or should have known that these physicians...
