Joseph Bubla died of electrocution while conducting a marine survey aboard The Grand Floatel, a houseboat owned by defendant Waverly Bradshaw. At the time of the accident, the boat was docked at a pier owned by defendant Allen Hudgins and his wife Ann and leased to defendant Hudgins Marine Engine Service, Ltd.
