He enjoyed staff privileges at Memorial Southwest Hospital (Memorial), which is operated by appellee, Memorial Hospital System, and courtesy staff privileges at Sharpstown General Hospital (Sharpstown), which is operated by appellee, Humana, Inc.

In October 1980, the chief of Memorial's Ob-Gyn section received a written complaint...
