This case is before the court on the plaintiff's appeal from the granting of the defendant's motion for a directed verdict. The plaintiff, Paul A. Calenda, brought suit against the Allstate Insurance Company alleging a wrongful failure to defend and indemnify him in a lawsuit that arose out of an automobile collision.
