The state appeals the trial court's orders granting Gregory Meola's two motions to suppress evidence. We have jurisdiction under Fla.R.App.P. 9.140(c)(1)(B).

The first order appealed relates to Meola's motion to suppress statements made by him after he was given Miranda1 warnings; the second deals with Meola's motion to suppress a firearm found in his car. As to the motion suppressing the statements, we affirm...
