CLARK, Chief Judge:

Fincher and Montgomery appeal the district court's denial of their motion to intervene in a suit by the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) against several of its former officers, Gibbs, Utens and O'Rourke. The motion to intervene that is at issue in this case is part of lengthy and bitter litigation among factions of the APFA. We agree wholeheartedly with the district court that this litigation is detrimental to the union's performance...
