On September 25, 1983, Ludmil Maslarski parked his vehicle, a 1967 Mercedes— Benz 250 SL (considered to be a collector's item), at Moisant International Airport in the "short-term" parking lot operated by the defendant, APCOA Parking Services, Incorporated ("APCOA").
