Defendant appeals from a decision of the Civil Service Commission which reinstated plaintiff, George Werner as a police sergeant with the Department of Police.1 The plaintiff answers the appeal and alleges that the Commission erred in refusing to award him back pay for a portion of the time during which he was removed from his duties.
