OPINION ON APPELLANT'S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

WHITE, Judge.

After a plea of not guilty, appellant was convicted by a jury of attempted murder. V.T.C.A., Penal Code Sec. 19.02(a)(1); Sec. 15.01(a). The jury assessed his punishment at seven years' confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections.
