EDWARDS, Judge.

The defendant, Ervin Louis, was charged by bill of information with armed robbery, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. Louis pled not guilty and elected trial by jury. The jury convicted the defendant as charged. The State filed a multiple offender bill, and after a hearing, the defendant was found to be a second felony offender. He received a sentence of sixty years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation...
