Appellant Thamara Fenolio was the plaintiff in this diversity action following an automobile accident which left her with severe injuries and some permanent disfigurement. The jury returned a verdict for Fenolio and against the defendants on the issue of liability and awarded Fenolio damages of $125,000. Fenolio had sought damages of $920,000.
