Plaintiffs, employees of Associated Truck Lines, Inc. (ATL), appeal the district court's denial of their motion to amend their complaint to include state common law claims for negligent and intentional misrepresentations. The court refused the amendment based upon a finding that the state law claims would be preempted by § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185.
