After a jury trial in Superior Court (Franklin County) defendant Gordon R. Pinkham was convicted of Class B vehicular manslaughter, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 203 (Supp. 1985-1986). Prior to trial the Superior Court denied defendant's motions to suppress two sets of statements he had made to Farmington police officers.
