(Potashnick), appealed to the State Board of Tax Appeals (Board) for a redetermination of an assessment of sales tax made by defendant, Louisiana Department of Revenue and Taxation (State). After a hearing, the Board rendered judgment in favor of the State, but decreased the amount of the original assessment and denied penalties.
