DURHAM, Justice:

The defendant appeals from a conviction on burglary, theft, and habitual criminal charges. For the reasons stated below, we affirm.

On August 9, 1979, police officers were called to investigate a burglary at Castleton's warehouse in which sixty-five leather coats were stolen. The officers determined that the burglar had gained access to the warehouse by cutting out a section of the metal overhead door with a torch and rolling up the door....
