In People v. Zamora, the People filed an interlocutory appeal challenging the trial court's order granting defendant's motion to suppress evidence. In People v. District Court, we issued a rule to show cause why the respondent trial court's order, prohibiting the People from using certain statements obtained from two witnesses, should not be reversed.
