Plaintiff commenced this action on December 14, 1984, in his own behalf seeking damages for alleged personal injuries from an accident which occurred on December 15, 1982. In the accident, which occurred on State Highway 236 in Kenton County of the State of Kentucky, the plaintiff alleges that he was struck as a pedestrian by a motor vehicle driven by the defendant.
