This case comes before us on appeal from a trial in the Superior Court (Nadeau, J.) in which the plaintiff, Carroll Cutter, brought suit for damages against two members of the police department of the town of Farmington and the town itself. A jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff and the two police officers, and against the municipality, and awarded damages. The Town of Farmington (town) appeals...
