OPINION

DORSEY, Justice.

This is an appeal of the division of community property in connection with the divorce of the parties and the setting aside of the wife's separate property to her.

Appellant and appellee were married October 2, 1968, and were separated in July of 1983. Appellee, prior to her marriage to appellant, purchased a house and lot located at 2501 Niagara Street, Corpus Christi, Texas....
