David Blevins sued the United States in admiralty and recovered damages for injuries he suffered on board a United States ship. Both Blevins and the United States appeal aspects of the district court's judgment. Blevins contends that the court erred by reducing the damage award to reflect comparative negligence, by failing to consider damages for disfigurement, and by refusing to award prejudgment interest.
