In the fall of 1977, plaintiff Medney underwent a series of synthetic fiber hair implants performed by defendant physician Pound; the last was on December 1.
On September 29, before the implants, Medney had signed a "Consent and Release" which stated that he "has agreed to have Dr. Pound perform such experimental implantations into his skin .. . [and he] fully understands that Pound and Hairegenics, Inc. cannot guarantee the medical and esthetic...
