Defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction of burglary and first degree sexual assault and an order denying his motion for postconviction relief. He argues that because he was 16 years old at the time of the offense and the circuit court record contained no evidence showing a waiver of the juvenile court's jurisdiction, the circuit court lacked subject matter jurisdiction.
