Appellee was arrested and charged with allowing a dog to run at large, in violation of the leash ordinance of the appellant City of LaGrange (City). The case was tried before the Recorder's Court of the City. Appellee was found guilty and her sentence included the payment of a fine, as well as five days of community service.
