Appellant, Maureen Hasan, sued respondents for negligence. Respondents, McDonald's Corporation, Chadco Corporation, and Jay Chadema (collectively referred to as "McDonald's"), moved for summary judgment. Appellant then moved to compel answers to interrogatories and requests for production of documents. About two weeks previously, appellant had served interrogatories.
