This appeal arises under the Firemen's and Policemen's Civil Service Law, TEX. REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 1269m (Vernon 1963 & Vernon Supp.1984). Appellee, Cynthia Maxam, was indefinitely suspended by the chief of police of appellant, City of Plano, Texas.
