Kathi Cope was involved in an automobile accident with Betty Eckert at the intersection of Spruill and Kingsworth Avenues in the City of North Charleston. Eckert was turning left into Spruill Avenue from Kingsworth, a side street. Cope sued Eckert in negligence for personal injuries allegedly resulting from the accident. Her husband, Robert W.
