In this medical malpractice case, the patient-plaintiff, Sarah Vinklarek, appeals from a summary judgment granted in favor of the defendant, Dr. Harold Cane. Vinklarek brought a medical malpractice claim against Dr. Cane for alleged negligent care and treatment in connection with an infection Vinklarek acquired following oral surgery.
