Appellants Sherman Anthony (Tony) Barnes and Jimmy Lou Barnes were indicted for seven violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. A verdict was directed by the trial court as to Counts 2 and 7, conspiracy to distribute marijuana and possession of dextropropoxyphene (Darvon).
