This is an action for no-fault personal protection insurance (PIP) benefits under MCL 500.3101 et seq.; MSA 24.13101 et seq. The plaintiff was one of a group of people who rented a van in London, Ontario, intending to attend a gathering in Lansing. They stopped at Detroit in order to stay overnight.
