Defendant-appellant, Isiah Crayton, was charged on December 6, 1983, by a bill of information with violating La.R.S. 14:27, 14:62.2 (attempted simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling) and La.R.S. 14:95.1 (carrying a concealed weapon by a convicted felon).
