CRIPPEN, Judge.

In May 1984, the child, then age 16, admitted an act of delinquency, that she had violated the misdemeanor shoplifting statute four months earlier. See Minn. Stat. § 609.52, subd. 2(1), 3(5) (1984). She appeals the fourth in a series of trial court disposition orders in the case, a decision on April 19, 1985, to remove her from her home for a placement at St. Croix Camp, a private residential facility located 150 miles...
