The defendant, John Manley, was charged by information with robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (2),1 larceny in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-124 (a),2 and using a motor vehicle without the owner's permission in violation of General Statutes § 53a-119b.
