This is a wrongful death action based upon defendant's medical malpractice in improperly administering a spinal anesthetic to plaintiff's decedent. Medical Anesthesia Services (M.A.S.) admitted liability, and trial proceeded on the issue of damages only. The jury returned a verdict in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $786,166.64.
