This is an injunction case in which the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee (the Committee) of the State Bar of Texas seeks to enjoin Eddie and Rita Cortez (the Cortezes) from engaging in certain acts alleged to be the practice of law. The trial court rendered judgment n.o.v. for the Unauthorized Practice Committee and issued a permanent injunction against the Cortezes.
