Defendant appeals his conviction for attempted sexual penetration with a foreign object in the first degree. He assigns as error the trial court's denial of his pretrial motion to suppress incriminating statements made to the police, allegedly obtained in violation of his rights under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution.
