The defendant, Calvin McGee, was charged by grand jury indictment with the offense of false representation in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:971.1. Following a jury trial the defendant was found guilty and on February 15, 1985 was sentenced to serve three years at hard labor and to pay the cost of the court proceedings.
