Plaintiffs James Paul Muse and Marie Muse sued their daughter, defendant Ruth Brown Woyner, and her husband, defendant Charles Woyner. Count I of the petition, directed only against Ruth, alleged that plaintiffs paid Ruth $14,550 for the remodeling of a house located on land owned by Ruth in Texas County.
