Defendants Mier Cohen (Cohen) and Erez Atava (Atava) were indicted for possession of cocaine and trafficking of a controlled substance. Cohen was also charged with speeding. After a hearing on a motion to suppress evidence, the trial court found that the stop of the defendants' automobile was proper; that the consent to search was voluntary; but that the detention of Cohen and Atava before the consent was obtained was an "illegal...
