This is a medical malpractice action brought by George Douglas, Jr., the surviving spouse of Patricia Douglas, on his own behalf and on behalf of their infant son, Patrick Douglas, arising from Patricia Douglas' death on December 28, 1981 at Suburban Medical Center, following administration of a local anesthetic for a Caesarean section.
