Plaintiffs brought this medical malpractice action against the defendant medical group, alleging negligent prenatal care and treatment of plaintiff Sally Lane by Dr. D.J. Hiza, a family practitioner. Plaintiffs claim the premature birth of plaintiff Sarah Lane and her twin sister Allison Lane caused Sarah to suffer mental retardation and cerebral palsy.
