Defendant appeals from his conviction and sentence in Polk County District Court for possession of a firearm by a felon and assault resulting in serious injury. On appeal, the defendant asserts that the trial court erred in refusing to instruct the jury on the defense of consent on the charges of assault. The defendant additionally asserts that the trial court erred in admitting into evidence two guns allegedly in defendant's possession...
