The plaintiff instituted this action with a four count complaint, alleging breach of implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, negligence and strict products liability arising out of the collapse of an outdoor illuminated sign. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff on the count for strict products liability in the amount of $2000.
