Bruce Moots was insured under a group policy of disability insurance from Bankers Life Co. Thereafter, Moots suffered disabling back injuries. As a result of these disabilities, Bankers paid Moots monthly benefits under the policy for approximately two years. For reasons not fully developed in the record, Bankers then terminated payments to Moots and Moots filed suit seeking both past due and future payments...
