On December 17, 1982, the appellant, Freddie Lee Bell, was indicted by the Grand Jury of Mobile County, Alabama, for robbery in the first degree in violation of § 13A-8-41, Code of Alabama 1975. Appellant was subsequently arraigned on February 11, 1983, at which time he entered a plea of not guilty.
